Transformation is coming to the Château le Jardin Event Venue. This fall, the popular Vaughan destination will break ground on a new luxury hotel that will offer guests a wealth of top-tier accommodations, office spaces, dining options, and leisure amenities.
“We’ve been planning for this hotel since we first opened our doors in the 1990s,” says Carlo Parentela, CEO of Château Le Jardin, industry veteran, and creative force behind the Toronto Bridal Show, Apres Noir Dinner and Concert Series, FindABanquetHall.com, and TV’s “Last Bride Standing” reality show.
“Over the past decades, we’ve been expanding Le Jardin to make it an incredible and viable conference and event venue for the proposed Hotel,” he adds. “And now the time has come.”
Dubbed Hotel Vie, the new hotel is part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio. It will rise to 12 storeys and feature 261 hotel-condo suites, 54 luxury executive offices, and ample amenities. Guests will also have access to a rich selection of leisure opportunities, including the Giverny Spa, Wellness and Holistic Centre; the Salle de Gym + Bassin fitness centre; Le Jardin Courtyard; and Claude Monet Gardens, to name a few.
“As its French origins in the word ‘Vie’ suggest, ‘life’ will be embodied in every aspect of the hotel,” says Parentela, adding, “Be that an inspiring place to work, connect or simply kick back and enjoy life’s finer pleasures.”
Speaking of finer pleasures, he adds, Hotel Vie will also host several restaurant and entertainment venues. They include the Sopra Sopra Ristorante + Lounge, La Terrasse Rooftop Pool/Lounge + Restaurant, the upscale Marche de Joe cafe and market; the Club de Vin private members wine club, and the Après Noir Nightclub and Lounge. Moreover, it will be home to an in-house production kitchen that will be equipped to provide a rich menu of goods at the aforementioned cafe.
“All combined, we want our restaurants, amenities, entertainment spaces, and accommodations to work together to provide guests with every advantage, whether they’re here for a conference, wedding, or social event,” notes Parentela.
Hotel Vie is being led by 27 Developments and will represent the firm’s first hotel in Vaughan. It is slated to open its doors in 2022. Once it does, the team at Le Jardin is confident the addition will offer significant advantages to the event planning community.
“With a track record of 35 successful years in catering and hospitality, the convenience of being only minutes from Pearson Airport, and the exciting energy of what this unique hotel will add to Vaughan, we’re confident Hotel Vie will only add to our destination’s appeal,” adds Parentela.
