Business is booming at the Québec City Convention Centre, the largest convention and meeting space in the Quebec City area. In 2017–2018, the Convention Centre hosted an impressive total of 170 events, including 56 conferences, 18 of them international. These events generated substantial economic impact for Quebec, to the tune of $101 million, a 10 per cent increase over the previous year. More than 205,000 conference-goers converged in the region and enjoyed the stellar services of the Québec City Convention Centre, with overall satisfaction rates topping 97 per cent.

The next few years promise to be very exciting as well, with 187 events already confirmed on the calendar between now and 2022,” he adds.

Quebec City ranks 4th in Canada for the number of international events held, according to the International Congress and Convention Association, right behind its bigger siblings Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. The Québec City Convention Centre plays a major role in that enviable position.
