Crescent Hotels & Resorts has been selected to manage and convert the Extended Stay Vaughan to a Staybridge Suites and will oversee the complete renovation and rebranding of the property. Crescent, based in Fairfax, Virginia is a nationally recognized operator of major hotels, resorts and conference centres throughout Canada and the United States.
Crescent assumed management of the property on March 1, 2018, and renovations will begin immediately. The hotel will remain open and operate as Extended Stay Toronto Vaughan during the renovation and convert to the Staybridge Suites Vaughan this summer.
“Crescent has extensive experience and success across Canada and the U.S. in renovating, rebranding and operating hotels in and near destination cities,” said Michael George, president and CEO of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, “and our unique approach as an award-winning manager will help to maximize the potential of this great hotel.”
Located in Vaughan, this hotel places guests just 10 kilometers from Canada’s Wonderland theme park, with rides for children and adults of all ages, including some of the fastest and tallest coasters in Canada. And Toronto Transit recently opened the subway extension located only minutes from the hotel, giving guests fast and easy access to all that Toronto has to offer.
The all-suite non-smoking property is designed to accommodate guests staying one night to one year, with suites featuring fully equipped kitchens, ample work space, a business centre, a fitness centre, and complimentary parking, WiFi and breakfast. Pets will also be welcome at the new Staybridge Suites Toronto—Vaughan.
