Lot42 Global Flex Campus, a new revolutionary events space, has announced a fall grand opening for the highly anticipated venue. The 17-acre Global Flex Campus is located at 41 Ardelt Place in Kitchener and is the first of its kind; dedicated for use in the arts, technology, manufacturing, music, festivals, athletics and community events. With more than 150,000 square feet of event space, LOT42 is creating new types of meeting spaces and expanding what is possible regionally and globally, from an event point of view. LOT42 is the vision of Patrick Doyle, real estate developer and David Brisson, entrepreneur.
According to David, CEO and President of LOT42, “Providing a flexible space for creativity in support of regional prosperity was at the core of our decision in the growing Waterloo region. The size alone offers limitless opportunities and we are excited to dream big with the community to collaborate in new and exciting ways.”
“We are excited about the spaces not only for the opportunity to inspire but especially since we have kept the old world charm with original windows, open web steel joist ceilings and an original 1950′s Ardelt crane. The industrial beauty will inspire unlike anything you’ve ever experienced,” said Patrick Doyle, Managing Partner LOT42.
The soft opening will be for a Kitchener community event, Oktoberfest, that runs from September 29th to October 6th, to welcome patrons during Canada’s greatest Bavarian Festival. Followed by the grand opening on October 21st, more information coming soon.
Additional events and speaking engagements are scheduled throughout the winter months and include household names such as Google, Deloitte, Communitech, Mercedes Benz and local companies such as Kik, Miovision and Vidyard.
